Measurements you may
require:
The tabs and hinge extend
outward 10" (EX. 12X9" would be 12X10").
From the
bottom of the tab to the top of the mounting bracket is 12
3/4".
The hinge requires 3 1/2" to mount to the
transom (adjustable).
Allow a minimum of 2"
clearance for steering angle.

Please do not think that sizing is complicated.
If your boat requires trim tabs, whether it is an aluminun flat bed boat or a high power jet engine boat, guide
your size by the fit. When you are adding tabs you are extending your hull. The more area you are covering the higher performance you
are going to establish. The best thing to do is start with the tab size closest to the length of your boat without going over.
The largest trim tab available is most likely the right size. Keep in mind that a smaller, faster
boat does quite well with a smaller tab size, while a larger, slower boat, does quite well with a larger tab
size. The size you choose is up to you, we only supply the basic guideline for boat length. We also include a display
controller that allows you to see the trim position at all times. Most manufacturers will charge you nearly
$300 for this as an extra.
