Accurate digital trim tab position readout

Bluefin trim tabs are available with a digital trim position readout control. At a touch, you can set the trim tabs to any desired setting from 0 to 20 degrees. The LCD digital display is easy to read in bright sunlight or in the dark.

You can pre-set the tabs to the correct position for the sea conditions and speed. You no longer have to feel or guess where tabs should be positioned for different seas and power settings ... you can set up the same whenever those conditions exist. You'll never need to "feel for" or guess at the correct trim angle again.

When both tabs are in the full UP position, the display will read 00:00. If port tab is all the way down it will read at 20:00.  With both tabs all the way down the display will read 20:20, indicating that both port and starboard tabs are set at 20 degrees.  You can set each tab to any degree from 0 to 20 by pushing the LEFT TAB or the RIGHT TAB button.

Bluefin trim tabs are made from modern high strength, fiberglass reinforced, composite materials and painted with black polyurethane that is compatiable with anti-fouling paint. This composite material is lighter, more resistant to the elements, and stronger than metal. That is why they perform better than tabs made of sheet metal. There are no sharp edges to cut swimmers, and best of all they do not cause galvanic action that will corrode and destroy your outboards and out drive units. Other trim tab suppliers will warn you about the galvanic action or electrolysis that their sheet metal trim tabs cause and suggest ways to lesson the effect.

Bluefin trim Tabs are an attractive addition for any boat ... they don't look like an afterthought. Their special grooved design is practical, too. The grooves provide lateral holding power without extra drag.

Double Rocker Switch

You may choose to add a Rocker Switch which can be mounted in a convenient location.  It works like any other conventional trim tab system, except the digital readout  works at the same time so you can monitor the position of your tabs.
